How to Check Your Status
Financial aid recipients who do not meet SAP standards at the end of the semester will be notified at their myBHC student email.
To check your current status, log into your myBHC account. Under Student > Financial Aid select “Academic Progress Status”.
How to Appeal Your Dismissal
Students who had mitigating circumstances may submit an appeal in order to continue receiving financial aid at Black Hawk College. Appeals should be submitted prior to the term of requested reinstatement – limited exceptions will be considered.
Once a completed appeal is submitted, allow 10 business days for review. Notifications of appeal approval/denial will be sent to the student’s myBHC email.
